The SiroLaser uses advanced diode laser technology to generate focused light energy that gently removes or shape targeted tissue with the ultimate precision. As the SiroLaser performs operates without direct tissue contact or pressure, it significantly reduces the typical discomfort associated with conventional surgical approaches and minimizes the need for dental anesthesia. With treatment that’s virtually painless, it’s no longer necessary to subject a patient to an injection of local anesthesia for every procedure.

Beyond offering more comfortable and stress-free care, diode lasers also cauterize the targeted tissues as they go to reduce any bleeding during periodontal or other surgical procedures. As a result, healing and recovery times are quicker and involve less post-operative swelling and scarring. 

When used to treat gum disease, diode lasers vaporize the inflamed and diseased tissue inside a periodontal pocket while leaving the healthy tissue intact. Diode lasers also target and kill the bacteria that cause gum disease and help facilitate the healthy reattachment of supporting tissues to the surface of the tooth's root.
